Doublespeak: Hides and Reveals Secret Messages in Text
Doublespeak is a Chrome extension developed by Joshua Fan that allows users to hide and reveal secret messages in text. This program is optimized for instant messaging and uses zero-width Unicode characters as a form of steganography.
With Doublespeak, you can encode messages in various forms, including text, URLs, watermarks, and small files. The encoded messages can be stored in a wide range of platforms such as chat messages, social media posts, user profile information, forums, HTML, emails, digital documents, and even file names (for very short messages).
The extension provides a user-friendly interface with convenient features. You can cycle through fields using the Tab or Shift+Tab keys, and you can also drag and drop files onto the popup window to encode them. Additionally, you can identify yourself in your messages by opening the hamburger menu and prepending or appending your name.
